I've gotten into doing photos in Second Life and uploading them into Flickr. There are tons of SL Flickr groups but some groups don't want you to credit the stuff. Which, honestly, I think is dumb as well as dishonest. In Second Life what makes a great photograph is a collaboration of efforts. Since I am not a creator, the things that make the photograph work are things that I put together in a scene but are created by other folks and on a sim or a location that someone has put some effort into putting together whether it be myself or someone else. To pretend that it just happened like a beautiful sunset in RL is unfair to those creators.
Most of the items I wear or have on the set either I paid for or found on hunts or were there at the sim/location and that includes my own avatar. I am not being paid or receiving anything from creators. If it ever happens that someone does pay me or sends me something to take a photo of, I will clearly say so.
A photograph in SL is like a movie in RL. At the end of the movie, the credits roll. The credits are not an advertisement but an acknowledgement of the part everyone played in creating the movie. I see credits in an SL photograph performing the same function.
However, since so many flickr groups have rules against listing creators whose items are in an SLpic, I have created this space to post credits.
I am not going to post the pictures here as I'd rather you got to Flickr to view the pics. I'll provide a link so you can do so.
